Rolston St. Hilaire (’98 PhD horticulture) has been named the new dean of the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at Fresno State.

Xiang-Jin Meng (’95 PhD microbiology, immunology and preventative medicine) has been elected as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Heather Loenser (’99 animal science, ’03 veterinary medicine) has been appointed vice president of professional development, culture and well-being for Harbor Vet by Suveto.

Eric Boeck (’93 animal science, dairy science) took on a new role as regional director of North America Seeds for Syngenta.

Kenneth Stalder (’87 animal science, ’95 PhD), professor of animal science at Iowa State University, received the 2022 Dean Lee R. Kolmer Excellence in Applied Research award from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Peter Ferket (’87 PhD animal science) has been named the interim head of the Prestage Department of Poultry Science at North Carolina State University.

Roger Christensen (’62 farm operations) has self-published two books, “100 Years of Pig Raising in Boone County” and “60 Year History of the Boone County Pork Producers.”
