1. Why did you choose to attend Iowa State?

I always joke that I've known I was going to Iowa State since I was born, but after touring multiple times, I knew it was the perfect place for me. The staff and faculty are truly so caring, and they help students identify their strengths and improve their weaknesses. There are many hands-on learning opportunities available for students that give them real-life experiences they will need for their future careers!

2. What is one thing you’re most proud of?

I am most proud of the relationships I have made during my time at Iowa State. My network's roots run deep, and I can only thank Iowa State for that! Classes and organizations allow for students to connect deeper than the surface level, and I'm very lucky to have been able to take advantage of that!

3. What is your biggest accomplishment?

My biggest accomplishment has been being selected Student Employee of the Year-- Student of Distinction this past year. I have worked at the Christina Hixson Opportunity Awards since I was a freshman, and it was so rewarding to be recognized for my dedication to my role.

4. If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?

I currently want to visit Mackinac Island. I think it would be very fun to walk around and ride horses. Also, there's a Pink Pony Club there, which I need to see!

5. Who has positively impacted your time at Iowa State?

It is difficult to pin down one person who has positively impacted my time at Iowa State! Nate Dobbels, in the AGEDS department, was the first person I talked to at Iowa State and has always pushed me to do my best. He is always around for an awful dad joke to brighten your day as well!
